Paballo Chauke is a Training Coordinator at Wellcome Sanger Institute, and Chair of the H3Africa Education Working Group. An award-winning science communicator and educator, he has trained over 10,000 scientists globally.

A prolific writer and speaker, Paballo is a Mail & Guardian columnist and founder of Conversations with Chauke. He is a malaria champion with the Zero Malaria campaign and has presented to over 60,000 learners at SciFest Africa in South Africa. His work blends science, education, and advocacy across Africa and beyond.

He has helped manage science communication for H3Africa, DS-I Africa and the African Society of Human Genetics, just to name a few. Paballo believes science is for all and that scientists need to embrace science communication as part of their vocation.
